Thank you all...yes a friend and I were just commenting that the view of the mountain from the north is much more impressive than that from the south of the island. It looks much bigger. The past couple of days have been sunny so that snow is glistening like silver.
Chandramouli this vista is a zoomed photo taken when I step out of the front door of my house and look left. It's not as close as it looks because of the telephoto effect, but it is a view I can see every day from my garden.
After all that rain we knew we'd have this lovely sight! Teide as seen this morning from our front porch.
The very definition of 'majestic'. Right in that photo :D
