Skywatch Friday

Welcome to my world in the Canary Islands.
This photo of the Tenerife sky shows the volcano Teide, the highest mountain in Spain, silhouetted against a creamy skyscape of billowing clouds. The photo was taken in February 2009 from my neighbourhood.

So strange to watch these clouds, covering the landscape! Great capture!

Those are amazing clouds over Teide. I visited Tenerife many years ago but didn't see the mountain looking so wonderfully dramatic.

Love your header too.

Nice photo. It looks like a volcano with smoke coming out of the crater.

Beautiful photo, as are the others photos I see on your blog. My husband and I are looking for somewhere to retire ---we hadn't considered the Canary Island, but they certainly look beautiful.

Cool photo - very surreal! The clouds look like sand hills not clouds.
